Songs and stories shaped by faith, family and the English countryside.
David has been writing and singing his own songs for more than forty years. Music has been the constant through his life, and in recent years he has gathered that work into a run of albums so the songs can be heard wherever people listen.
He grew up alongside his twin brother, and his writing returns again and again to the woods and fields of England: fox and badger, deer and birdsong, and the quiet places where he feels closest to God.
Alongside his music, David has written four books. Most were written for his family and as a record of his own thoughts, and they share the same openness you hear in his songs.
A memoir of two twin brothers who joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in their late teens, and whose paths later divided. David writes about his upbringing, his faith, his love of nature and music, and why his belief has only grown stronger.
